Comments Imported! Yay!
Apr. 13th, 2009 12:20 pmComments still didn't import after over 6 hours. Decided to submit a support request.
EDIT: I re-imported and this time it worked. All comments to my journal from the last eight years have successfully imported.
Since I was re-importing anyway, I followed the instructions to update my account to seed and then add all my LJ user icons to Dreamwidth so the import would pick up all my icons.
Looks like the icon import didn't work (or I was doing it wrong). All icons imported as the default, no matter what my original selection was. All icons in the comments imported as the "Dream" icon shown here, again without capturing the icon I'd selected in LJ.
I wonder if I should retry. Probably not, since that would put additional strain on the system which is already trying to handle a mass migration. I can change the icon selection manually if it's that important to me.
