Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] kyoudai02, [livejournal.com profile] animelily, and [livejournal.com profile] rhiannasilel for their gift of Numi Flower tea and teapot! We've been enjoying it immensely for the past several days. It's so cool to watch the "flower" unfold in the teapot - what a cool artform. The tea tastes good too. [livejournal.com profile] rialian just saw the flower unfold for the first time last night and he was delighted too.

And no, we did not dance the Numa Numa dance afterwards...

Hehe, actually that was a joint gift from us and [livejournal.com profile] rhiannasilel. [livejournal.com profile] rhiannasilel bought the tea and we snagged the teapot.

Glad you guys are enjoying it! Seeing the tea-flower bloom must be a nifty experience. Going to have to try it ourselves sometime..

A friend of mine told be abt those, and she loves hers, too.

Courtesy of Mika, I got a gift card for Teavana and have been enjoying some of their loose leaf tea in a neat little tea maker. I am still getting used to quantity/temp for making real tea, but it's quite fantastic and so lovely to watch the leaves and flowers unfurl and flow in the currents.

When I go down for Thresholds this year (and maybe Crossings as well - I should be able to afford it as I recieved a nice little sum from my late grandmother), I'll have to pick some up.

Glad you like it. We thought it looked pretty nifty and would be something that you would have fun watching. I think the best thing is that you get to see the pretty flower, but you don't have to water it and then feel bad later because you forget to water it and it dies.:)
