helen99: A windswept tree against a starlit sky (Default)
[personal profile] helen99
The wood, though silent when compared to surrounding developed areas, had a song all its own, which became audible in the silence as we stared over the pond reflecting the diffuse light of cloudy evening. As darkness stole across the forest, it began to awake, and the air became alive with the flying wisps of twilight. Such was an afternoon/evening spent with dear friends and the trees... After that, we went home and drank strong coffee while playing a couple of songs from Shoggoth on the Roof (we must have Balance in our lives, you know...)

Then the next day, we went to visit some other friends -- and amid the more serious discussions, we were introduced to http://www.kompressormusic.com/ - Kompressor is ... er..., different. I feel justice was served for our inflicting of "Shoggoth on the Roof" on unsuspecting souls... Kompressor's iuma.com download page is here: http://artists.iuma.com/IUMA/Bands/kompressormusic/

"Cleeck Cleeck with the Remote Control!
While you're not paying attention
Kompressor take over your laieeef!!!!!"

This is most effective when sung into someone's neck, by the way...

Meanwhile, a funny quizlet:

How would you take over the world?
Answer (dead link removed): Enlist the help of an invading alien army..

thanks!

I couldn't find my favorite one. Must be one of the ones he forces you to buy the CDs to get. X-10 runs a close second though, so it's all good...

The one in which he says that while I'm not paying attention, Kompressor takes over my life (click, click the remote control). I've always thought that the lack of attention (and at times, sentience) brings about some most unfortunate things...

Midnight Rendezvous isn't the one I'm looking for (listened just now). 'Kompressor Want to Get With You' didn't want to download, so I'll have to wait until I get home. Sometimes the work server is 'funny'. Eyyaaaaagh! (By the way, your vocalist does a mean "Eyyaaaaagh!" and quite a professional "bleeyyoorrrgh!" on your CD)...

Actually, the 'meet at midnight' link leads to the song you were after, I just had MR in my head, so that's what the link text wound up as.

And yes, Justin can Bleeorgh with the best of them.

You'd have to be pretty careful about which alien race you enlisted to help you take over the world, because my fuzzy bunnies are pretty powerful... :D

In that case, I'll have to enlist the assistance of the as yet undefeated alien Lagusian race of the star system Oryctolagus Cuniculi... They specialize in infiltration, subversion of fuzzy bunnies to their nefarious agenda, and consumption of delicious, ripe raspberry crops...

Knowing my traitorous army, they have no doubt joined forces with the Fuzzy Bunnies and are no plotting my demise... Curses, foiled again!
