What made it even more special was that Fox News had rebroadcast it, and then a 99.5 FM announcer had heard about it in passing (but probably not the whole story). He repeated part of it on the radio which was where I heard it. By the time Fox and Rock Radio had gotten done with it, a game of "telephone" was in progress and the story was told as if nobody knew if it was true or not, so for all I knew it had really happened. I had to look it up in a non-US source to figure out what the true story was. Just as I thought, it was just some poor sot in New Zealand channeling Cambodia!
