Yay.. Now people won't have to climb over each other to get to the upstairs bathroom when they're over...
The bathroom in your old place was probably a zombie bathroom now that I think about it. (The apartment complex that had squirrels and black mold in the bathroom).
It's interesting to have seen (and smelled) what teeming life (not to mention death) lurked behind seemingly innocuous walls. I'll probably never look at walls in quite the same way again...
I'm sure most of that apartment building was Zombified. They were very nice bout cleaning it for me when I complained about the mold, and gave me back all of my security deposit despite rather glaring damage that had occured during my time there. I suspect they're just waiting for someone to sue them for it. Yay not being allergic to my home anymore!
I bet it looks great, and I bet you are so relieved! Believe me, I understand--i hate it when something goes wrong in the apartment and maintenance doesn't get to it. Tack on that with dealing with cable, phone, any tech support issues. I simply don't like people to drag their feet.
I'm just happy it's finished. Unfortunately, my old house needs lots and lots of work, some of it cosmetic (floors paint, trim) and some of it not (roof, trees trimmed back from the house). All of it is expensive. Next comes the insulation under the house and in the attic which has needed replacing for years.
Ya.. they also unfortunately trapped Gamaliel and Sassua in there.. came home hearing some muffled mews and thought, "Waaaiit a minute.." so promplty let them out and used the shiny new light. ee
Poor things.. maybe they got some important socializing done, though. They didn't seem to be fighting or anything when I got there, mya.
Ya, I was wondering the same thing. How do you accidentally leave two cats in the bathroom..? At least they didn't make a mess or anything. Was pretty surprised, ee
