It certainly sounds different, and apparently useful judging from the other comments on this page. Had a look at the ingredient list.. someone did their homework. They used Habanero peppers, which on the Scoville scale (the culinary measure of a pepper's kick), it tops the scales at an impressive 300,000+ Scoville units. In comparison, A jalapeno gets a rating of.. I belive it's just a little over 100.
*gets out his texts from cooking school* I stand corrected. A jalapeno ranks from 2,500 to 10,000 on the scale, a green pepper ranks 0, and pure capsacin, the primary ingredient in mace, runs about 16,000,000 on the scale. The hottest actual pepper was a habanero, about 577,000 on the scale it says here.
