If it was evened up and about 5 shades darker (but with the same sparkle effect) - a few shades away from "Smurf" and toward "Midnight" -- I'd be very happy with it. We can do this thing. I think a_machine's idea of renting a sprayer is the way to go. Question is, who has them for rent. Home Depot maybe? Or maybe a smaller place specializing in equipment rentals. I'll check the Yellow pages and see what I can find.
