For him, it was the day that changed his life. For me.... it was Tuesday (the day my cat gets "fixed").

Given a choice, I doubt he'd allow this, even though it makes life more convenient for me (and prevents Bast-Lummox hybrids from spawning). Even though it's the responsible thing to do.

It's hard but necessary. They say the majority of cats that get hit by cars are usually out dashing around in hormonal frenzy. Otherwise, they'd have not been in the road in the first place.

Don't know if it's true, but it's a good enough reason for me.

"frenzy" describes it well... I once had an indoor male cat that I didn't neuter "in time", and believe me, his mind was one-track. *Every* waking moment was spent on The Quest (and The Marking). Finally when he sprayed me one day, I decided that was The Sign I'd been waiting for. I don't wait as long these days.

Yes it does seem cruel after watching Dr. Doolittle though It seems funny too. Dog kept promising if only they wouldn't do it that he would not look at another lady doggie. In walks this lovely lady collie and he was heading her way.lol In they drag him to the humanoid fixer of overpopulation.lol

Yes you did the right thing.
