What makes this even worse, is that the shocking pink Jesus is a actually a little bank, and was called a "Money Box Jesus" on the label...

Here's the only picture in the set that turned out kind of pretty...

The scary thing is, in real life the whole thing works (in a very frightening way...) Witness social commentary, Christmas decorations, and occular torment, all in the same place.

That's definitely differently festive.

It would have been worse, but...

You got a Drag Stag! I didn't know they came in black too, though. I'll have to tell/send one to [livejournal.com profile] tenbris.

They have them at Borders in White Flint mall. Oddly I have not been able to find them anywhere else, though - not even Amazon. Maybe I don't know the right terminology for them (heh). I searched by "teal stag", "fuzzy stag" and "Festive, Fuzzy Stag with Faux Feather Boa" (but none of those worked...)

A what?

I thought "tl;dr" meant "Too Long; Didn't Read." (I guess if a picture is worth a thousand words, the above travesty would be equivalent to about 4000 words, but something tells me that's not what you meant...)

tl;dr is sometimes pronounced in conversation "teal deer" :)

That's exactly what I thought when I saw them at the store. The first time, I passed them by, but then I actually went back to the store just to get them, if you can believe that.

The evil dolls are very happy with this display.

Those are skeletal sparkle arms growing out of the deers head, they only want you to think they are happy reindeer, the skeletal parasites are fixen to crawl out of the head at night. The doll is high up in the tree cause she knows they are going to soon hatch, as the deers head is really only an egg, evil doll egg so to speak. The doll on the tree also has handy round balls things to throw at the skeletal creatures to direct where they should crawl off to, plus she also has a fuzzy rope to slide down the tree and to the floor when it is time. Pink Jesus is of course in on it also, and he will be carried to a spot to just stare at you. Most likely he will be hoisted up to stare from the foot of ones bed.

HOwever you do have a shield, which was put there for just this thing, that if you can get past them all when they are on the floor, you can then grab it up and then bash them as they come flying up towards the face.

So you see this is actually a wonderful display, sparkly, colorful and creepy and set for action. ;)
