Nice day at the ren fair

Today we finally made it to the ren fair to hear the bagpipes on Scottish weekend. We ended up spending a lot of money, as usual whenever we go there. We each bought a pair of new moccasins from http://www.medievalmoccasins.com/ - we got basic black for every day use and I left my old ones there for repair. I still want to order a pair of forest green ones, and rialian will be ordering a pair of ... bright purple. Yes, that's right, bright, living, UV-radiating, purple. We're going to order those as soon as we can afford them... Rialian also got a new wavy flamberge knife and some books on pre-1500s faerie lore. We met two cool friends there and hung out for a time. Yay friends.
