They do look similar, but they will never admit it. Each of them accuses the other of looking exactly like their dad, and each one claims that he most resembles their mother (but definitely not each other).
With Steve, everything is Tentative (TM). I think he switched universities about 3 times, each time with a different major. He ended up taking a bachelors from Berkeley in computer science, and a Masters from Johns Hopkins Bologna Italy in Foreign Affairs with heavy coursework in economics. Now he's working on his PhD thesis, runs a company, and is being paid by UMD for some work which ties into his thesis. All of it tentative, of course...
