The first glimmer of friendship

helen99. I was indifferent at first - seemed like just another live journal among hundreds. But as time progressed and I peered at her journal from the safety of the distance afforded by a computer screen, I found that she began to amuse me. Since this is not an easy thing to do, and because I was in need of some diversion, I was appreciative and returned more often to follow the odd thread of helen99's ramblings. This wasn't unusual in and of itself, but then it happened. She began to intrigue me. I wondered if perhaps she would be interested in a friendship. So I added her to my friends list. I wonder if she'll add me back...
