I voted and voted and will continue to vote. I voted against them, I voted for others (who weren't much better), I voted to impeach, I voted myself silly, shrieked, hollered, and wrote numerous letters habitually harassing congress. Fat lot of good it did. They still got into office, they still won't take no for an answer even in the face of proof that they are dead wrong, and if they're defeated by vote they change the rules and reintroduce their agenda until they get it. And the worst part is, if the opposing party had won, it would not be much better. Both parties will do the bidding of the ones who have bought them, and alas, I don't have the cash on me.

Ah, but the goal now is changed. By all means, do continue your laudable harassment of Those in Power! But my goal now is to spend my energy closer to home.

Harass your friends. ;)

You know - the ones who "never have time" to get out and vote, or who "can't believe you actually pay attention to that stupid politics stuff".

Subvert just two of them to Radical Moderate...ism. (ouch, sorry). We'll grow slowly - but with time, we'll all be trooping in, singing eight bars of "Alice's Restaurant", and trooping out.

And it'll be...A Movement.
