===The land we have has some old swales on them....this bit was actually a tomato farm in the 1930's, and while we were walking about and being shown the place, I realized what they were...I was thrilled.
===it will likely take a few years, and a good bit of walking up the various seasonal waterways...but I have a distinct feeling that we can get these running more. There are definitely signs that many years ago they may have been more active. (I think one of the swales may have been getting water from the creek as well)
