Would they really? Is this specifically a Scorpio thing? How about Aquarius... aren't they supposed to be easygoing? They'd probably welcome you. Hardly anybody wants their birthday to be in February.
Or you could do like I've done and toss out the Western zodiac altogether. The Chinese one has better animals.
