Gaaaaahhhh!!!!! (must share pain)

I had decided to convert all the snakes to frozen mice, since I'd rather not have to, well, you know, slay mice from time to time. We'd picked up a 20-pack and put it in the freezer. Seraphim made it known that he was hungry by poking his head out of his hiding place and staring at me meaningfully. I got a mouse-sicle from the freezer and put it in a cup of warm water to thaw. A little too warm. The thing, ahm, sort of exploded, dispensing entrails and the contents thereof, ah, outside the mouse, (where they should not be). I am usually not squeamish, but this little episode almost grossed me to death. I've never nearly been grossed to death before. It was an experience. So now you know.
