There was a new shop at the ren fair - Greentree Weaving.
Their hand-woven cotton fabrics are gorgeous.

They weave magical fabric with an enchanted loom...

===(Seeing one of the looms they use, and the feel of the result, I would say that the prices are quite reasonable. Not cheap, but definitely of real quality (Which is one of my criteria in regards to getting something.)

Ah, ok... I had been looking for them on the ordering and contact page and on the main wool and silk page. Dunno why I didn't think to click in on the individual pictures...

And yeah, those do look like very reasonable prices for the quality of the clothing involved.

Well crumb. I called their 800 number to see if I could find out for you and nobody answered, not even an answering machine. If I make it to the Ren Fair one more time this season (and I do plan to go back), I will get that information for you.

Yes, they are very beautiful. They definitely are 3-cider items, though (ouch, the pricetag, oh, the pricetag). Luckily, the ren fair is really good about providing the cider... and they are worth every cent...

I would say they are made really well and will last you a very long time so thus worth it yes. And Cider is always worth it.lol

The site doesn't make it clear, but most of their products are not wool and silk at all. The Ruanas and various shirt types are woven cotton and very comfortable, washable, and hypoallergenic.

The problem for me is the pricetag. I had to have a couple of ciders before I was willing to buy one...
