The new one by Sigur Rós (Sæglópur - an EP import) has both a CD and a DVD with three music videos on it.
The videos were beautifully disturbing and disturbingly beautiful. There was a lot of ocean. And a gang of octogenarian delinquents with a can of spray paint and a willingness to do battle for their 'turf'... And a giant squid with a side of seaweed. And kids with eyes way older than their faces leaping off a cliff and flying. I've loved the music of Sigur Rós since I first encountered them, but this is the first time I've ever seen their visual interpretation of it. It was ... them. Oh my (still reeling).
