Me: Uh, no...
Starbucks attendant: That was a rather abrupt question, I realize...
Me: Not at all. Do I look like someone?
Starbucks attendant: Yes, in fact, you look like a gentleman by the name of Michael Fuentes.
Me: Wrong nationality.
Starbucks attendant: He's Hispanic and Native American.
Me (often mistaken for either one): Sorry, neither...
Good grief. I don't mind having the ethnicity wrongly identified (happens all the time). But I'm not the mother of any gentlemen. If I ever adopt, it will be an elf, not a gentleman! Gack. *coughs up hairball*.
