2nd Saturn Return, the Continuing Saga

If someone was treated differently by insurance companies, employers, doctors, adoption agencies, etc., on the basis of race or religion, a big deal would be made of it. However, where's the outrage when these same agencies discriminate based on age?

Suppose someone told you the following based on your race or religion:

You may not adopt this child.
You may not be hired for this job.
Your health insurance is going to cost more, even if you are in great shape and exercise regularly.
Your auto insurance will be more expensive, even if you're an excellent driver who never had a ticket.

There would be outrage the like of which we've not seen in a while, and rightly so.

But if someone tells me the same thing based on age, it's considered to be perfectly reasonable and ok.

NO, IT'S NOT OK.
