I love it! (Did you write the story to fit the pictures, or did you manage to find pictures to fit the story? Maybe you should find out where those pictures were taken if it's the latter!) I should take a pilgrimage to find a Wall as well, methinks... :) My "Wall" (in my childhood dreams) tends to take the shape of a huge, hollowed out tree that serves as a home to various creatures with the ability to talk... or maybe I was just speaking their language. Usually, there is a sea of crumbling concrete surrounding it, as though someone tried to pave the space around it.
