The Chronicles of Narnia (Tilda Swinton)
We went to see Chronicles of Narnia last night. It was pretty and a wonderful movie. I'd felt some trepidation going to it for some reason - maybe because of the WWII connection or maybe the religious connotations. It's really neither though - it reflected pre-Christian ancient Britain more than anything else imo, complete with king-as-sacrifice-for-the-land and such.
That said, I'm pretty sure the directors didn't intend their audience to develop a crush on the arch-villainess!
