320,000 stitches later ...

... I've learned single, double, and triple crochet, slip stitch, turning stitch, squares, and rounds. Everything still looks amateurish, because, well, it is. But it's becoming inexorably more acceptable, or a reasonable facsimile thereof. This is all very good except...

...When I looked for the Crawling Horror so I could review the beginnings of this endeavor, I couldn't find it. It has disappeared...

I do two together then three and repeat it throughout the work. It makes a lovely and tight stitch that will last. It really looks good with baby stitches too. Delicate and strong at the same time.

What is a baby stitch? Is that done by using a very tiny hook and fine yarn? I just found a beautiful chair throw at a thrift shop that I think had shells made with baby stitches in it (that's what it looks like - I will get a pic when I get a chance).

Anyway, I'll do the two-three pattern next and see how it looks.

You will love it. I think they look so lovely and they are strong too so they will last as long as you could hope for.
