I needed an excuse to use this new icon, so I thought these articles from the San Francisco Chronicle would be appropriate:

Boomerang comes back after 25 years

Sex toy triggers bomb scare in Sweden

UFO flies over texas town

Hm... Now I can't remember what I was thinking when I first wrote that! LOL... something linking the superstitious "End of the World" fundies with the UFO...

Or, maybe it came looking for Bush (being his long lost relatives)? It's a bit too late... but you do have to factor in the time it takes to get here... they may think he's still governor :P Hm... d'ya think he has tentacles? I'd put my money on tentacles...

This evening I was absentmindedly admiring the almost-full moon and deriving comfort from the fact that the familiar, laughing "face" is out of human reach for the most part (just barely - that could change any time), and thus has not substantially changed in many geological ages... Then I horrified myself by imagining the ways they would change it if they could (Mt. Rushmore and such). Aieeeeeee....... (I hope that if he has alien relatives they're here to take him back)...
